Twenty years leading complex banking and payments portfolios across ANZ, NAB and Great Southern Bank — from merchant acquiring and commercial lending to co-creating a digital SME banking service from scratch on a BaaS platform.
I run product businesses end-to-end — from understanding what customers need, to designing the proposition, pricing it for profitable returns, bringing it to market, and managing performance over time.
Most product roles focus on one part of that loop. My experience spans all of it. At Great Southern Bank I had full accountability for a new digital SME banking platform — CVP, product, credit, risk, operations and P&L — built on Constantinople's BaaS architecture and delivered through both a direct channel and an embedded finance partnership with MYOB. Before that, fourteen years at ANZ & NAB across merchant acquiring, commercial lending, deposits and consumer cards gave me depth across every major product category in banking.
I'm also an experienced consultant, having advised fintechs and payments providers on product strategy, market entry, AML/CTF frameworks and commercialisation through my own advisory practice.

Led the design, build and commercialisation of a new digital banking proposition for SME customers — built on Constantinople's BaaS platform and delivered through both GSB's direct channel and an embedded finance partnership with MYOB (Solo Money). Launched within 12 months of joining. Full P&L accountability across transaction banking, deposits, payments, and lending.
Led ANZ's merchant acquiring product function with accountability for payment acceptance propositions, pricing, portfolio performance and new product development across 150,000+ merchants spanning micro, SME, mid-market and corporate segments. Managed a team of 45 including multiple agile squads. Led two major innovation initiatives and a board-level strategic review.
Led product management for ANZ's commercial lending and deposit portfolios — end-to-end lifecycle accountability across overdrafts, term loans, commercial bills, market-based facilities, indemnity guarantees, asset finance, transaction accounts, cash management, term deposits and statutory trust accounts. Served SME, mid-market and corporate segments.
Founded and operated Point Connect Advisory, providing product strategy, market entry and commercialisation advice to fintechs, payment and financial service providers. Engagements covered the full range of advisory work — from early-stage concept development to market entry for established global businesses entering Australia.
Engaged by a start-up challenger bank to design, from the ground up, a banking proposition targeting Australian customers with strong ties to Asia. The work spanned the full conceptual build — target segment definition, customer value proposition, product roadmap, distribution strategy, and the detailed requirements to deliver it through a partner bank's platform under a "bank-as-a-platform" arrangement.
Engaged by a salary-packaging and employee-benefits provider exploring a financial wellbeing platform as a way to diversify revenue beyond its core business. Over a three-month engagement I shaped the proposition across eight service areas, designed and ran the qualitative and quantitative research to validate it, and translated the findings into an evidence-based view of which features to prioritise — giving the board a clear, market-tested basis for its investment decision.
